![]() The components to shooting are aiming, being in range, and using your ability. ![]() With shooting, it does make it easier, but not in a challenge type of way. The first one doesn't really change if you can see a bullet from farther away, because you already had enough time of the bullet being on your screen to dodge anyway. There are two main factors of play in RotMg, dodging, and shooting. It has been mentioned that zooming the game out would make the game too easy. You can't do that here, and it wouldn't make sense here anyway. Most games where you have to change the camera view, are FPS games, and there you can use the mouse to look around. This is not good, for a couple reasons: You no longer always face a cardinal direction, so you can't just instantly walk straight, you are no longer facing the same direction all the time, so certain things like snake pit/abby trooms are no longer predictable, and it is an extra set of keys you have to worry about using in the middle of a fight, as well as when walking around. As it is right now, in order to get more screen range for your attacks (and it doesn't even show all the way to the end of the shots for robe classes), you have to uncenter and rotate the screen. Am I really the only one who thinks zooming the screen out so you can see more would be a good thing? I have not come across an argument against it that makes a good point.
